​​Courtney Henry, a 5th grade teacher at Granville Wells, used the funds from WBEF to purchase a hands-on learning tool called Versa Tiles. With Versa Tiles, students are able to solve a problem and then move a tile to represent their answer. At the end, each student is able to self-check their answers.  With the funds, Mrs. Henry was able to buy more sets so she has enough for each child. She was also able to buy more of the problem books so the students can use these to practice a variety of math and reading skills.  The students LOVE working with Versa Tiles in the classroom as they learn new skills along with reviewing previously taught skills.
